Dear Lawson Unit,
Each year, At&t joins forces with The United Way to assist our community around a single goal; to improve lives in the El Paso area.  Participating in United Way’s annual campaign provides you the opportunity to share in this vision and improve lives in the community in which you work and live.

As we start At&t’s 2011 United Way for the El Paso area campaign, I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some exciting developments regarding United Way.

United Way realizes that the best way to help the most people is by focusing on the most important issues that affect our community. And, that is what they are doing by bringing people together from all across the community to tackle the issues that matter most.

With our help, United Way has an even greater opportunity to create positive, long term results in the area of healthcare, education, and self-sufficiency programs.  Additionally, for every dollar you donate it is a dollar helping a family in need.

I personally support United Way’s efforts to address long term solutions to our community’s most pressing needs.  As an employee of At&t, I ask you to consider doing the same.

Please mark your calendars for our United Way Campaign kickoff event on January 5, 2011.  This year’s goal is to meet and exceed last years’ goal of $25,000.  United Way Representatives will be bringing you good news and will be available to answer any questions you may have.

If you have previously supported At&t’s United Way Campaign, I thank you.  I appreciate your commitment to our community.  If you are currently supporting United Way through payroll deduction you do not need to complete the new pledge form to continue to support.  We will continue your payroll deduction at the current level unless you wish to increase your donation, which I highly encourage. I want you to remember we are very fortunate to have to ability to give to the United Way and should always remember we too can be in need of programs that United way has to offer.

Thank you for continuing to give At&t the opportunity to be a leader for making a difference in our community.

Sincerely,
